n Visakhapatnam, the excitement for the upcoming India-Australia T20 match is palpable. The match, scheduled for the 23rd of this month at the YSR ACA VDCA Stadium, has seen a rapid sell-out of tickets. The online ticket sale via Paytm, managed by the ACA, has already concluded. On Friday alone, five thousand tickets were sold across six different price categories through various counters. Special counters were established at the YSR Stadium and Municipal Stadiums in Town Kottra Road and Gajuwaka. Ticket prices varied from a minimum of Rs. 600 to a maximum of Rs. 6000. Tickets priced at Rs. 1500, Rs. 2000, Rs. 3000, and Rs. 3500 were sold in three different areas, separately for women and men. Fans began flocking to the ticket centers from Friday morning.
SR Gopinath Reddy, the ACA Apex Council Secretary, personally oversaw the ticket sales at the YSR Stadium B ground. He expressed his gratitude to Collector A. Mallikarjuna and CP Ravi Shankar for their efforts in ensuring a smooth ticket sales process. On the day of the match, there will be an opportunity to exchange the tickets at the stadium itself. He further announced that tickets will continue to be sold offline on Saturday through the respective counters, in six denominations.
